Department Of Mathematics
Established in 2006, the Department of Mathematics is one of
the premium sections of our institution. Department
offers 3 years B.Sc. course with one of the major subjects Mathematics. Along with traditional mathematics,
highly learned faculty discusses and delivers lessons on applied mathematics
too.
Aims:
- To teach the Pure and Applied Mathematics
to UG students as per the syllabus prescribed & framed by the
university.
- To inculcate mathematical
logic in the fraternity of UG students.
- To motivate the students for
research work in Advanced Mathematics.
Vision: Leading in the academic and research fields and competing
nationally as well as internationally.
Mission: The
mission of the department is to provide an environment where students can learn
and become competent users of mathematics and its applications. Moreover, the
department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical
thinkers and enabling them to become lifelong learners.
